How remediation works
We contain. Plastic barriers and a negative air machine keep the work area under pressure so nothing escapes into the rest of the home.
We remove and treat. Affected porous materials come out and are bagged. Framing and other solid surfaces are cleaned and treated.
We clean the air and surfaces. HEPA scrubbing and detailed cleaning bring the area back before the containment is removed.

Do you test for mold?
We assess visible growth and moisture and can arrange independent testing. For a clearance you want the testing done by a separate party, not the company doing the removal.
Is a little mold a big deal?
A small spot on a hard surface from a one-time spill can often be cleaned. Growth in drywall, insulation or framing, or anything larger than about a square metre, needs proper containment and removal.
Can I stay in the house during remediation?
Usually yes, if the work area is contained and you stay out of it. For larger jobs or sensitive occupants we will talk through whether to relocate for a few days.
Will the mold come back?
Not if the moisture source is fixed. Mold needs water. We address the leak, drainage or humidity that fed it as part of the job.
Do you use bleach?
No. Bleach does not work on porous materials and mostly addresses the color, not the growth. We remove what cannot be saved and treat what stays with proper antimicrobials.
How long does it take?
A contained bathroom or closet is often one to two days. Larger areas take longer, plus drying time and, if you want it, a clearance test before rebuild.
